Traveleast is a data base for child and youth journeys to Central and Eastern Europe as well as youth exchanges. It is a site for everyone who wants to go alone or with a group on journeys to the less known but very attractive destinations in Central and Eastern Europe.

This site contains information on the following countries: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegowina, Bulgaria, Belarus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Croatia, Hungary, Lithuania, Latvia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Russia, Slovenia, Slovakia and Ukraine.

Traveleast contains among other things general information, information on youth work and helpful addresses for journeys into the countries mentioned above.

Youth exchanges with groups from Central and Eastern Europa are a great enrichment for both sides. Exchanges in the middle of nature with cheap and sometimes basic accomodation can also help that still existing differences in income and wealth do not negatively influence the direct contact too much.

With the information on this site we would like to not only facilitate travel planning but also to help to establish contacts with the countries and people already before the journey.
